Engineering Aide (Temporary, On-Call)

  • Responsibilities
  • Organization and input of field and laboratory data via gINT
  • Interface and coordination of illustrative material for reports
  • Maintain and organize catalog of standard illustrations/plates
  • Perform and assist with laboratory testing of soils and concrete
  • Perform and assist with construction services involving field sampling and compaction testing
  • Organize and maintain project file to assure easy access of information as needed
  • Assist outside offices with all the above duties
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in or completed an accredited college-level
  • Civil Engineering program and able to work part-time
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel software
  • Working knowledge of gINT software, or ability to learn quickly
  • Working knowledge of Corel Designer software, or ability to learn quickly
  • Computer-literate with the ability to learn new software quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to work within deadlines
  • Work well independently and with others
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record
  • Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical
