Staff Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assisting with project execution, including engineering analysis and report preparation.
• Field exploration and construction observation work.
• Assisting other staff to ensure that commitments to clients are met.
• The individual must have the ability to make geotechnical recommendations.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field; M.S. preferred.
• One or more years of experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers and software.
• Understanding and knowledge of soils and various testing procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, including grammar.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable DMV driving record.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
