Community & Professional Outreach
Every year Fugro carries out many hundreds of projects in local and regional communities. To express its appreciation of the connection between Fugro and this environment, the group follows a policy of active donations and sponsorship and, in so doing, makes possible many (inter)national educational, cultural, social, and sporting initiatives.
Virginia Offshore Wind (VOW) Coalition
Fugro is a founding member of the VOW Coalition whose purposes are to promote the development of wind offshore and the development of Hampton Roads region of Virginia as a supply chain hub for the new industry.
Internship / Research Fellowship
Fugro Announces the establishment of an Internship/Research Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. The Internship/Research Fellowship will evaluate and develop Foundation Solutions for Offshore Wind Turbines.
Nauticus
Fugro Atlantic is proud to be a corporate sponsor of Nauticus, the maritime-themed science center in downtown Norfolk. In addition, Fugro Atlantic was a corporate sponsor of the recent 96th Annual Convention of the American Association of Port Authorities.
Virginia Tech Scholarship
Fugro Atlantic is pleased to announce our support of the Virginia Tech geotechnical engineering program through establishing a graduate student scholarship. Our scholarship funds and intern programs at Virginia Tech and at other universities around the country show our dedication to the geotechnical practice and our desire to attract the best and brightest students to careers at Fugro.
