Fugro's Services

Fugro offers Testing and Special Inspection services performed by certified I.C.B.O. (International Conference of Building Officials) inspectors and American Welding Society Inspectors, using modern testing equipment and procedures. Services are provided in accordance with the Uniform Building Code, local building authority, and the approved project documents for concrete, structural steel welding, masonry, fireproofing, and other structural materials.

Fugro is an active member of the California Council of Testing and Inspection Agencies (CCTIA) and is committed to complying with the current CCTIA guidelines for special inspection and ASTM E329. The laboratory is recognized or approved by various agencies.

Laboratory

Fugro has an in-house, state-of-the-practice, National Institute of Standards and Technology Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) inspected laboratory. The firm is also a participant in the CCRL reference sample program. Tests of concrete, soil, rock, and materials, as well as, customized testing, are performed by civil and materials engineers and technicians according to ASTM specifications.

Inspectors

Our multi-disciplined inspectors provide a cost-effective means of meeting the Uniform Building Code requirements by combining and maximizing the field inspection efforts where applicable. Our inspectors hold I.C.B.O. and, in many cases, AWS certifications, and are able to conduct a number of different types on inspections on any given day.
